To study the impact of environmental factors on the health of women and children; to research on the impact of genetic and environmental factors on reproductive process for women of child-bearing age and children growth; to establish a base for research concerning the impact of environmental pollution on health of children in specific areas and to develop applied research.

To focus on the research on the effects of environmental factors to reproductive disorders, birth defects, cancer, asthma and other environmental related diseases, and to study the effects of pollutants on intelligence and development of children, reproductive function of women and viability of the elderly and intervention control methods.
